Contact Restoc support
Restoc support is one email address: support@restocapp.com, and every message sent there lands in the support desk. Restoc is not open to stores yet, so that address is also where the pre-launch questions go, what the reorder maths is built to do, what a plan costs, and what gets stored about a store.
Restoc is not open yet, so anything on this page about what it does is what it is being built to do.
Where to write
Restoc has one support address: support@restocapp.com. Every message sent there lands in the support desk, so there is no form to find and no right person to guess at.
Restoc is not open to stores yet, so most of what arrives now is the pre-purchase kind of question: how the reorder number is built, what a tier costs, what is stored about a store and where. All of that is fair game at that address, and so is anything these help pages leave unclear.
What to put in a message
- Send it from the inbox you want the reply in
Whatever address you write from is where the answer goes back. One destination, support@restocapp.com, no ticket number to quote.
- Name the store and a rough SKU count
The .myshopify.com domain if the question is about a particular store, and roughly how many SKUs you carry. Restoc is made for catalogues of 50 to 2,000 SKUs, and the count is what decides which tier fits.
- Say what decision you are trying to make
Whether Restoc covers the job you are doing by hand, which tier to start on, whether the data handling clears your own rules. A question with a decision attached gets a shorter, straighter answer.
- Quote the line you were reading
If something on these help pages is wrong, unclear or missing, paste the sentence. That is the fastest way to get it corrected rather than explained twice.
What we can answer before launch
What the reorder number is built from
A reorder point per SKU, worked out from a sales velocity window of 7, 14 or 30 days and the lead time you enter for that SKU.
Where alerts are built to land
Email alerts when a SKU crosses its reorder point, on every plan, and a Slack webhook on Growth and Pro.
What the screens are built to show
A dashboard of current stock, days of inventory remaining and reorder status per SKU, plus a weekly reorder report with suggested quantities and a CSV export.
What a plan costs
Starter $9, Growth $19 and Pro $29 a month, or $90, $190 and $290 a year. Every plan carries a 30-day free trial, and starting the trial needs no card.
What is stored, and where
Your name, email address and a hash of your password. A store's Shopify Admin API access token and that app's API secret key are held server-side and never shown in the app. Hosting is Amazon Web Services, and email goes out through Amazon SES.
What is not in place
No independent security audit and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification. No single sign-on, no two-factor authentication, no standing data processing agreement and no choice of data region. If you need a DPA signed, ask.
Worth reading before you write
Most questions land on one of these pages, and reading first usually beats waiting for a reply:
- Plans and prices sets out the three tiers, the SKU caps per tier and the annual option.
- Getting started walks through connecting a store and setting a first reorder point.
- Reorder point calculation covers the velocity window and the lead time behind the number.
- Stock threshold alerts covers email delivery on every plan and the Slack webhook on Growth and Pro.
- The dashboard page covers current stock and days of inventory remaining.
- The weekly reorder report page covers the suggested quantities and the CSV.
- Export your data and Delete your account cover the JSON export and the one-step deletion in Settings, Account.
If none of them answers it, support@restocapp.com is the route.
Questions
What is the Restoc support email address?
support@restocapp.com. Every message sent there lands in the support desk.
Can I ask questions before Restoc is open to stores?
Yes, the same address. Restoc is made for Shopify merchants carrying 50 to 2,000 SKUs, so the useful details to include are the store you run, a rough SKU count and the decision you are weighing up.
Is there a phone number or live chat?
Email is how you reach the team: support@restocapp.com, straight into the support desk.
How is sign-in built to work?
Email and password. There is no single sign-on and no two-factor authentication today. Only a hash of your password is stored, alongside your name and email address.
What will Restoc cost?
Starter is $9 a month, Growth $19 and Pro $29, or $90, $190 and $290 a year. Each plan carries a 30-day free trial and no card is needed to start it. The plans and prices page sets out the SKU caps and alert channels per tier.
Will you sign a data processing agreement?
There is no standing data processing agreement in place. Ask at support@restocapp.com if you need one signed.
Where is my data held?
On Amazon Web Services, in a single region alongside the app, with pages served through CloudFront and the Postgres database staying in its region. There is no choice of data region. The export page covers the JSON file of everything held about an account and store.
