Plans and prices
Restoc has three plans, Starter at $9 a month, Growth at $19 a month and Pro at $29 a month, each also available annually at $90, $190 and $290 a year. Every plan carries a 30-day free trial, and the plan you want is decided by two numbers: how many SKUs you track, and whether your team needs Slack as well as email.
Restoc is not open yet, so anything on this page about what it does is what it is being built to do.
What this article covers
Use this when you are picking a plan at the start of your trial, when your catalogue has grown past your current SKU cap, or when you want to switch from monthly to annual billing.
Two things separate the plans: the number of tracked SKUs, and the alert channels. Nothing about the reorder point maths changes between them. Starter already computes a reorder point per SKU from sales velocity and lead time, emails you when a SKU crosses it, and gives you the weekly reorder report with its CSV export and the dashboard of days of inventory remaining.
What each plan costs
| Plan | Price | Tracked SKUs | Alert channels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $9 / month | 200 | Email only |
| Growth | $19 / month | 1,000 | Email and Slack |
| Pro | $29 / month | 2,000 | Email and Slack |
| Starter (annual) | $90 / year | 200 | Email only |
| Growth (annual) | $190 / year | 1,000 | Email and Slack |
| Pro (annual) | $290 / year | 2,000 | Email and Slack |
What each plan includes
Starter, $9 a month
Up to 200 tracked SKUs, one location, email alerts only. Reorder point per SKU from sales velocity and lead time, a sales velocity window of 7, 14 or 30 days, email alerts when a SKU crosses its reorder point, the weekly reorder report with suggested quantities, CSV export of that report, and the dashboard of days of inventory remaining. Billed on your Shopify invoice.
Growth, $19 a month
Everything in Starter, up to 1,000 tracked SKUs enforced at sync time, and Slack alerts through an incoming webhook. One location. Pick this when the people who act on a reorder read Slack before they read email.
Pro, $29 a month
Everything in Growth, up to 2,000 tracked SKUs, and a per-SKU sales velocity window override, so a candle that sells evenly and a seasonal line that sells in bursts can each use their own window. One location.
Annual billing
Starter is $90 a year, Growth $190 and Pro $290. That is two months free compared with paying monthly, about 17% off. Caps and channels are the same as the monthly plan of the same name, billed once a year on your Shopify invoice.
Pick the plan that fits your catalogue
- Count the SKUs you want watched
Open your dashboard and look at how many active SKUs Restoc is tracking. That number, not your revenue, decides the plan: 200 on Starter, 1,000 on Growth, 2,000 on Pro.
- Decide where alerts should land
Starter delivers reorder alerts by email only. If you want them posted to a Slack channel through an incoming webhook as well, you need Growth or Pro.
- Decide whether you need per-SKU velocity windows
Starter and Growth use one sales velocity window of 7, 14 or 30 days across the store. Pro lets you override that window on an individual SKU.
- Choose monthly or annual
Annual costs the equivalent of ten months, about 17% off, billed once a year. Monthly is the same plan billed each month. Both carry the 30-day free trial.
- Pick the plan in billing settings
Open Settings, then Billing, and choose the plan. The charge is billed on your Shopify invoice. Starting the trial needs no card.
Move between plans
- Check your current usage against your cap
When a store's active SKU count approaches or passes its plan limit, a banner on the dashboard and on Settings, then Billing shows current usage against the limit, with a direct upgrade option.
- Choose the higher plan
From Settings, then Billing, pick Growth or Pro. The new cap applies to the SKU caps enforced at sync time, so the SKUs that were over the old limit are taken in on the next sync.
- Switch the billing interval the same way
The annual version of each plan is a separate choice in billing settings, with the same cap and the same alert channels as its monthly twin.
- Expect a lower plan to narrow what is watched
Moving down to a plan with a smaller cap means fewer tracked SKUs at the next sync, and moving from Growth or Pro down to Starter leaves email as the only alert channel.
If this did not sort it
If the banner on billing settings still shows you over your limit after a plan change, wait for the next sync to take in the SKUs that were previously blocked, then check the dashboard count again.
If a charge on your Shopify invoice does not match the plan you picked, or you need an annual plan on a tier you are not currently on, email support@restocapp.com and tell us the store domain and the plan you want.
Once the plan is settled, the next job is giving a SKU its lead time and velocity window so Restoc can compute the reorder point and start watching it.
Questions
How long is the free trial, and do I need a card?
Every plan carries a 30-day free trial, and starting it needs no card.
Where does the charge appear?
On your Shopify invoice. Payment details stay with Shopify and never reach us.
What does annual billing save?
Annual plans cost the equivalent of ten months, about 17% off: $90 a year for Starter, $190 for Growth, $290 for Pro.
Does Starter include Slack alerts?
No. Starter is email only. Slack alerts through an incoming webhook come with Growth and Pro.
What happens if I track more SKUs than my plan allows?
The cap is enforced at sync time, so SKUs past the limit are not tracked. A banner on the dashboard and on billing settings shows your usage against the limit with an upgrade option.
Which plan do I need for 2,000 SKUs?
Pro, at $29 a month or $290 a year. It covers up to 2,000 tracked SKUs and adds a per-SKU sales velocity window override.
How many locations does a plan cover?
Every plan covers one location.
How do I stop being billed?
Deleting your account in Settings, then Account cancels any active Shopify charge. Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin also ends billing.
