Cancel your subscription
You end a Restoc subscription in one of two places: uninstall the app from your Shopify admin, or delete your account in Settings > Account. Both stop the charge on your Shopify invoice, and only one of them removes what is stored about your store.
Restoc is not open yet, so anything on this page about what it does is what it is being built to do.
When you need this
Restoc is billed on your Shopify invoice. Starter is $9 a month, Growth $19 and Pro $29, and the annual plans are $90, $190 and $290 a year. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and starting a trial needs no card, so inside the trial there is nothing on your invoice yet.
Use this article when you want the charge to stop: you are moving to another tool, you are pausing for a quiet season, or you are done with reorder alerts. Read it before you press anything if you want a copy of your numbers, because the export lives inside the account you are about to close.
Cancel, step by step
- Export anything you want to keep
Settings > Account exports a JSON file of everything held about your account and store: tracked SKUs, sales records, alerts and reports. Do this first. Once the account is deleted there is no separate archive to ask us for.
- Switch off email alerts if you want them quiet today
Reorder alerts go to your account email from the moment you connect a store, until you change the address or switch email alerts off in Settings > Alerts. Turn them off there if you want the messages to stop before you deal with the billing.
- End the billing by uninstalling from your Shopify admin
Uninstalling Restoc from your Shopify admin ends billing. Your payment details sat with Shopify throughout and never reached us, so the subscription line stops at the source.
- Or delete the account to cancel and clear everything at once
Settings > Account deletes the account and everything stored about your store in one action: the Shopify connection and its access token, every SKU, sales record, alert and report. You type your account email to confirm, and any active Shopify charge is cancelled with it.
What each route does
| Route | Billing | What is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Uninstall Restoc from your Shopify admin | Billing ends | Kept while your account is open |
| Delete the account in Settings > Account | Any active Shopify charge is cancelled | Store connection, access token, SKUs, sales records, alerts and reports all removed at once |
What happens to your access
Sign-in is email and password, and it belongs to the account. Delete the account and the sign-in goes with it, so there is nothing left to sign back into and nothing left to alert on.
Cancelling stops the charge going forward. It is not a refund request, and nothing here promises one. Payment details stay with Shopify and never reach us, so an amount already on your Shopify invoice is a question for Shopify's own billing record.
If it did not work, or you are not sure yet
If the plan is the problem rather than the product, the plans and prices article lays out what each tier allows, including the SKU caps, before you decide to leave.
If you only want your numbers out, read the data export article. If you want the full deletion sequence and the confirmation step written out, read the account deletion article.
If the charge still looks live after you uninstalled, email support@restocapp.com with your .myshopify.com domain. Every message there lands in the support desk.
Questions
Will I get a refund when I cancel?
Cancelling stops the charge going forward, and nothing here promises a refund. Payment details stay with Shopify and never reach us, so anything already on your Shopify invoice is a question for Shopify.
Does cancelling delete my data?
No. Uninstalling from your Shopify admin ends billing, and what is stored is kept while your account is open. Deleting the account in Settings > Account removes the store connection and its access token, every SKU, sales record, alert and report at once.
I am still in the trial. Do I need to cancel?
Every plan carries a 30-day free trial and starting one needs no card. If you do not want to continue, uninstall from your Shopify admin or delete the account in Settings > Account.
Can I move to a smaller plan instead of cancelling?
Starter is $9 a month, Growth $19 and Pro $29, with annual at $90, $190 and $290 a year. The plans and prices article sets out the tracked SKU cap and alert channels for each one.
Will reorder alerts stop?
Reorder alerts go to your account email until you change the address or switch email alerts off in Settings > Alerts. Deleting the account removes every SKU, alert and report, so there is nothing left to alert on.
Can I get my data back after I delete the account?
No. Deleting removes everything at once and there is no separate archive of your data. Export the JSON file from Settings > Account before you delete.
