Invoices and receipts

Restoc does not take your card. Your plan is billed on your Shopify invoice, so the receipt for Restoc sits with Shopify alongside your other Shopify charges.

Restoc is not open yet, so anything on this page about what it does is what it is being built to do.

Who bills you for Restoc

Shopify bills your Restoc subscription on your Shopify invoice. Restoc never sees or stores your payment details: what it keeps on its side is your plan tier, your trial end date and the state of your Shopify subscription charge.

You need this article when the charge shows up and you want to check it, when you are reconciling app costs for the month, or when the amount is not the one you expected.

Find the charge for your plan

  1. Open Settings then Billing in Restoc

This is where Restoc shows what your store is on: the plan tier, the trial end date and the state of the Shopify subscription charge. Start here, because it tells you what Shopify was asked to bill.

  2. Note the plan and the interval

Monthly and annual are separate plans. Starter is $9 a month or $90 a year, Growth is $19 a month or $190 a year, Pro is $29 a month or $290 a year. Annual is two months free compared with paying monthly, about 17 percent off.

  3. Look at your Shopify invoice

Shopify issues the invoice and holds the payment, so the line for Restoc appears there with your other Shopify app charges. That line is your receipt.

  4. Match the amount to the plan price

A monthly plan bills its monthly price, an annual plan bills once a year. Nothing is charged while the 30-day free trial is running, and starting the trial needs no card.

Plan prices to check against

PlanMonthlyAnnualTracked SKUs
Starter$9 / month$90 / year200
Growth$19 / month$190 / year1,000
Pro$29 / month$290 / year2,000

If the amount looks wrong

  1. Check the interval first

An annual plan bills the yearly figure in one go, not a twelfth of it each month. A yearly amount on a month you expected a small one is usually an annual plan doing what it says.

  2. Check whether the trial has ended

Every plan carries a 30-day free trial. Settings then Billing shows your trial end date, which tells you whether a charge was due at all.

  3. Check the tier on your store

Starter, Growth and Pro differ by price, by tracked SKU cap and by alert channels. If the tier in Settings then Billing is not the one you meant to be on, that is what the invoice reflects.

  4. Write to support with the details

Email support@restocapp.com with your .myshopify.com domain, the date on the invoice and the amount. We can see the plan tier, interval and trial end date held for your store and tell you which of them produced the charge.

Stopping the charge, and where to go next

Uninstalling Restoc from your Shopify admin ends the billing. Deleting your account in Settings then Account also cancels any active Shopify charge, and removes the store connection, SKUs, sales records, alerts and reports in one go.

If your question is about what each tier includes rather than about a charge that has already landed, the plans and prices article lays the three tiers out side by side. If you cannot get into the account to look at Settings then Billing in the first place, start with the support article instead.

Questions

Does Restoc send me an invoice?

No. Shopify bills your subscription on your Shopify invoice, and that invoice is the record of the charge. Restoc does not issue a separate invoice or receipt.

Where do my card details sit?

With Shopify. Payment details stay with Shopify and never reach Restoc. What Restoc stores is your plan tier, your trial end date and the state of your Shopify subscription charge.

Will I be charged during the free trial?

Every plan carries a 30-day free trial, and starting it needs no card. Your trial end date is shown in Settings then Billing.

Why is my annual charge so much larger than a monthly one?

Annual plans bill once a year: Starter $90, Growth $190, Pro $290. That is two months free compared with paying monthly, about 17 percent off, taken in a single charge.

How do I stop being billed?

Uninstalling Restoc from your Shopify admin ends billing. Deleting your account in Settings then Account cancels any active Shopify charge and removes your stored data at the same time.

Who do I contact about a charge I do not recognise?

Email support@restocapp.com with your .myshopify.com domain, the invoice date and the amount. Every message to that address lands in the support desk.
